Format Description
Both the Classic Hits and the Classic Rock formats are based in 60's, 70's and 80's rock music. The primary difference between the two formats is that the Classic Hits format is slightly softer in tempo, playing only the softer hits from Classic Rock artists. The Classic Rock format will play deeper, harder cuts from Classic Rock albums giving the format a more male skew than the more mainstream Classic Hits format. A Classic Rock format may also include some current rock from Classic Rock artists. Age skew of the two formats is very similar.
